Lithuania's motorways and national roads are free for cars; the vignette is for trucks and buses only. Two small local fees exist: Kaunas Old Town charges a few euro to enter, and driving onto the Curonian Spit at Nida costs an environmental fee.

City & emission zones
- Kaunas Old Town low-emission zone€2.00
About 2 euro per visit to drive into the Old Town; pay within 30 days via the Unipark app or online. It covers the first hour of parking.
- Curonian Spit entry fee (Nida, Neringa)€10.00
About 10 euro off-season and 50 euro in peak summer (20 June to 20 August) to drive onto the spit. Pay at the checkpoint or online at unipark.lt.

Local tips
- National roads and motorways need nothing: no vignette, no sticker, no app.
- Visiting Kaunas Old Town, budget about 2 euro and pay within 30 days via Unipark.
- Driving to Nida, pay the spit fee online before you arrive, and avoid the peak-summer rate if you can.
- Winter tyres with the snowflake mark are mandatory from 10 November to 1 April.
